BECAUSE THE RICHARD BLANTON BRANCH IS SO WELL DOCUMENTED, MALE DESCENDANTS ARE NEEDED TO DNA TEST AND WITH PRIMARY SOURCE CITATIONS PROVING DIRECT DESCENDANCY FROM THOMAS (1) BLANTON & JANE McGUFFY BLANTON..............
IF WITHOUT A DOUBT A DONOR CAN PROVE HIS DESCENT FROM THOMAS (1) BLANTON........................DNA TESTING WILL BE PAID FOR BY MEMBER"S OF "BLANTON FAMILY PIONEERS IN DNA".

TESTING A PROVEN DESCENDENT FROM THIS BLANTON BRANCH WILL ESTABLISH THE "BLOODLINE" OF   THOMAS (1) BLANTON.

DNA DONORS ARE NEEDED FROM THE DIRECT LINEAGE OF RICHARD BLANTON

TIDEWATER Blanton's (Is a geographical tag only, used to distinguish Thomas (1) Blanton of Old Rappahannock County, Virginia and his proven desendents)

BLANTON LINEAGE A ~ Represented by thirty (30) Participants.   The majority of Blanton Family DNA Analysis Project Participants belong to Blanton Lineage A and as of this date there are 13 defined branches A1 thru A13, DNA Donors share a common patrernal ancestry in an as yet "unnamed" common ancestor.

This Blanton Branch is represented by Participants who have provided limited or circumstantial evidence of their direct ancestry back to Old Rappahanock County, Virginia.

DNA TESTS HAVE SHOWN A 100% MATCH OF ALL A1 DONORS.   A2 THRU A13 HAVE DIFFERENTIAL MARKERS BY 1.   A1 THRU A13 ARE ALL RELATED TO SAME UNNAMED COMMON ANCESTOR.
